Passing of the Yarborough

The Passing of the Yarbrough is a cherished tradition within the Special Forces community, symbolizing legacy, honor, and connection. We are honored to partner with the Almonte family in support of this program for the community!

This program takes place once a year and centers around the Yarbrough Knife, a custom-designed combat knife issued to Special Forces soldiers upon completing their rigorous training. Named after General William P. Yarborough, the knife represents membership in this elite brotherhood. Through this program, families come together to learn about basic survival skills while also celebrating and honor the values and achievements of their Special Forces loved ones. It's a powerful opportunity to pass down a legacy of courage, service, and pride to the next generation, strengthening the bond between parents and children.
